B+ is a challenging yet beginner friendly class that will help build core strength, endurance, and flexibility! In this class you will learn classical mat Pilates, while using modern strength training techniques to help you progress to the next fitness level.
Just as the name implies, this class will guide you to level up your practice! By the time you are ready for this class, you are feeling confident in your B+ classes. Is B+ now easy, no!!! However, you feel that you are ready to up the challenge. This class will introduce more body weight exercises, coordination, and control! Did someone say precision???
Sexy back, arms, and chest is where this class will lead you! This class still offers a full body workout, but the focus will be on the role of the back, arms, and chest play in each movement. Take a standard bridge for example, it's pretty obvious the role the glutes and legs play in this exercise, but what about the back and arms???
If you want strong knees that don't hurt when you try to get down low, then you MUST strengthen your glutes and hip muscles! This class focuses on the lower body by building strength and flexibility. This is also a full body workout, but the star of this show is the lower body.
Pilates is not just a group of one-off exercise you do simply to work your abdominals! The movements are connected so that your body can flow from one exercise to the next, working your entire body in the process! Pilates has a flow, count, and rhythm to it! You will learn to breathe and flow from one move to the next using a focus on breath work and transitions.
This is where we slow things down and release the stress that we carry in our bodies and mind. This class will use the best of Pilates and Yoga to unwind a tense body and mind.
